My bed is my savior.

I didn’t like to leave my bed.
Outside is dark.
People stare, people laugh.

Everyone knows.
Strangers know.
Friends know.

I know.

Back to bed.
All day in bed.

I am doomed to die in my bed.

And then it changed.
I met you.

You are my savior.
I can leave my bed.
The world is bright again.
I walk through the crowds, unnoticed.
A smile is on my face.

I can breath again.

I can laugh again.

I can be me again.
